Randy SantelNow that we have over 410,000 people subscribed to Our YouTube Channel and My Facebook Page is growing rapidly in numbers as well, I am (fortunately) getting so many messages and comments that I am unable to keep up with them all, AND still stay focused on all my full-time schoolwork & entrepreneurial efforts. I truly appreciate everyone's time and support, and I want your questions to be answered as quickly as possible. Because it sometimes might take days and even up to a week to respond to some messages, I wanted to create this page that has general responses to the questions and comments I receive most often, over 80% of the time. Now if you have a common question, it can be answered NOW without you having to wait. I have a Randy Santel Q&A Videos page that displays embedded Q&A videos we have featured on our channel. Those videos answer more in detail some of the questions I've answered below in simplified form. Check out that page if interested. Thanks for your awesome support that allows Mitch and I the opportunity to do everything we get to do, especially during our tours!! I will update this page as needed and include when it was last updated. Thanks for understanding and I appreciate you checking out this page!! You'll hear from me soon!!

Q: If you are wondering my height and weight...

A: I am 6'5" and have been since high school. My weight depends on the day and/or which video you are watching. My weight increases as our trips progress. Then I take multiple months off afterwards to lose the weight I gained, before touring again.

Q: If you are wondering my age...

A: I am 31 years old and my birthday is June 24th. My 1/2 birthday is December 24th (Christmas Eve), and yes I still celebrate that :)

Q: If you are wondering what I am studying in school...

A: I am studying Nutrition and Dietetics at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. My major is Dietetics and I will receive a minor in Biomedical Sciences, both complementing the Construction Management degree I received from MSU back in 2008. I will then be required to complete a 1,200 hour Dietetic Internship, and I don't know where that will take place yet.

Q: For permission to share our content on a Facebook page...

A: Yes you can share our videos, and thanks for asking in advance. Please credit our YouTube channel and Facebook page. We appreciate your consideration and willingness to feature us.

Q: Have I ever failed a food challenge before?

A: Click here to check out a YouTube playlist of loss videos!!

Q: If you sent me the link to a video shared by a major Facebook page followed by millions of people...

A: Thanks for thinking of me when you saw that video posted!! I really appreciate that and I'm happy that I am at the forefront of your thoughts when it comes to food challenges. I am aware of the challenge since I follow all those pages too, and will see what I can do the next time I am in the area, if it isn't WAY bigger than I can physically handle. (I cannot beat challenges over 10 lbs.)

Q: If you are wondering if I have completed a specific challenge, or a challenge near your city/state/country...

A: I have 584 food challenge wins in 20 countries and 48 states, so there is a high percententage chance that I have attempted the challenge you inquired about, if it is a popular challenge that is well known on the internet. If you want to know quickly, please search YouTube or even Google for "Randy Santel (insert the challenge name or city/state/country)." I've spent tons of time over the past few years making sure that our videos are tagged properly and will show up and rank for related search terms.

Q: If you wonder which two states I still need to visit...

A: Hawaii and Alaska. I will probably do separate trips so I have more time to spend in each state, and the trips wil both happen within the next year or two. I am not sure when those will occur.

Q: If you seek food challenge or competitive eating advice...

A. I spent many months in 2014 writing all the articles featured on FoodChallenges.com, and they are filled with 100% of my tips and advice I still practive today. The information can help you learn to train and strategize to dominate food challenges. I have no secrets or anything to add to what already exists. Check out the articles and embedded videos under TIPS and STRATEGIES (tabs).

Q: Why I kneel during my food challenges...

A: Click & read this post on FoodChallenges.com explaining why!!

Q: Why I drink carbonated diet soda during my challenges...

A: Click & read this post on FoodChallenges.com explaining why!!

Q: If you are wondering where we will be going next...

A: Since I am in school, my availabilty is limited to only really being able to travel far distances during my winter and summer breaks. This summer in June and July we will visit countries in both Asia and Europe. We do hope to include the UK during our European travels, but aren't sure where we will visit yet. Next winter we will more than likely do a Southeast USA Tour. I'll post more info about our summer tour travel plans later on in April :)

Questions pertaining to my music playlist, sweet t-shirt collection, Leonidas (the teddy bear), and who Zeus is are all answered in videos embedded on Randy Santel's Q&A Videos.
